India vs Nepal Match Score, Asia Cup 2023: Super-4 teams have been decided for Asia Cup 2023. After Pakistan, the Indian team has also qualified from Group A. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team played its second match in the Asia Cup against Nepal on Monday (September 4).

In this match, the Indian team entered the Super-4 by winning by 10 wickets. With this, cricket fans will also get to see the second match between India and Pakistan. This match will be played on 10 September in Hambantota. The final match of the tournament will be held on 17th September in Hambantota only.

Nepal had given a target of 231 runs.

In the match, the Nepal team lost the toss and batted first and scored 230 runs. Asif Sheikh played a quick half-century inning for the team. He scored 58 runs. While Sompal Kami played an inning of 48 runs.

For the Indian team, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj and spinner Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets each. Whereas Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur got 1 success each.

The target of 145 runs was achieved using the Duckworth-Lewis rule.

Chasing the target of 231 runs, the Indian team could score only 17 runs in 2.1 overs without losing any wickets and then the game was stopped due to rain. A lot of time was wasted due to rain. Then, using the Duckworth-Lewis rule, India was given a target of 145 runs in 23 overs.

In reply, the Indian team won the match by scoring 147 runs in 20.1 overs without losing any wickets. Indian captain Rohit Sharma put Fifty in a very beautiful way. He scored an unbeaten 74 off 59 balls in the match. While Shubman Gill also remained unbeaten after scoring 67 runs on 62 balls.

India-Pakistan first match was canceled due to rain

In the Asia Cup 2023, the Indian team played its first match against Pakistan on Saturday (September 2). But this match to be held at Pallekele Stadium got rained on. The match was canceled due to heavy rain. Only the Indian team could bat in the match. And Pakistan did not even get a chance to bat.

The Indian team had a bad start after winning the toss and batting first, but the team scored 266 runs. Ishaan played an innings of 82 runs in 81 balls. While fast-bowling all-rounder Pandya scored 87 runs on 90 balls. After this, it rained so heavily that the Pakistan team could not bat and the match had to be canceled.
